This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Robo Gurukul website, Robo Gurukul Studio application, academy dashboard, and payment services, how we use it, and your choices.

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile photo (if provided), and a unique user identifier from Google. Guest sessions may use a local identifier without a linked email until you sign in.

Learning & usage data: Mission progress, curriculum completion, project activity, simulator usage, and related learning analytics stored to personalise your experience and sync progress across devices.

Academy data: For schools and academies, we store institution profile details, student enrolment records (name, roll number, contact details, batch assignment), and registered classroom devices as entered by authorised academy staff.

Payment information: Subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. We receive subscription status, plan type, billing dates, and Razorpay customer/subscription identifiers. We do not store full card numbers or CVV on our servers.

Technical data: Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, browser type, and diagnostic logs for security and performance.

Communications: Messages you send us via email, WhatsApp, or support channels.

We process personal data based on your consent (e.g. sign-in, marketing where opted in), performance of a contract (providing subscribed Services), legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), and legal obligations.

• Service providers: Google (authentication), Firebase/Google Cloud (hosting & database), Razorpay (payments), analytics providers, and email/support tools — only as needed to operate the Services.
• Academy administrators: Student data entered for an academy is visible to authorised staff of that academy.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.

We retain account and learning data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Academy and billing records may be retained longer where required for accounting or institutional purposes.

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and Firebase security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong account practices and report suspected issues promptly.

Our Services are designed for learners, often under school or parent supervision. Schools and academies are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from parents or guardians before enrolling students and sharing student information with us.

• Request correction or deletion of personal data by contacting us (subject to legal retention needs).

• Disable cookies in your browser; some site features may not work without essential cookies.
